Joe Morris was great. he showed us things that were off the beaten track, some down little allyways and side streets that you would otherwise not even notice. He infused a real feeling of history into every location we visted, and made it fun to imagine what London life was like at that time. And very often, life was not nice! We learned some of London's dirty little secrets and its seedy past. All fascinating, and definitely NOT standard tourist niceties of Madame Tussauds and Buckingham Palace.

The adventure far exceeded my expectations. I had the opportunity to explore and find out more about a part of my city and visit places that I wouldn't normally visit. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly - he even took us for a pint afterwards! A thoroughly enjoyable day.

My daughter and I had a lovely day. There were 12 of us in our group. The guide was very knowledgable around this part of London. We especially liked the tour of the operating theatre, and the trip to Borough Market. I would recomend this tour, and next year we will try one of the other tours. Bev and Sarah
