Itinerary:

After meeting your guide in central London (next to the one & only statue of Paddington Bear!) we take a short train ride to the heart of the Thames Valley. We then jump onboard our classic English bicycles complete with bells and baskets.

We cruise gentle traffic-free country routes, pedaling along the Jubilee River before pausing at the historic Tudor mansion of Dorney Court for morning refreshment. We continue our ride under the huge open skies alongside the Olympic rowing lake, before cycling next to the Thames, where we enjoy awesome views of the castle as we arrive into Windsor. A quick tour of Eton High Street includes the Queen's bank, the famous Eton chapel and of course historic Eton College that has educated 19 Prime Ministers. We enjoy a traditional pub lunch before taking a short walking tour of the highlights of Windsor town including hearing the legend of Sir Christopher Wren's Guildhall and the neighbouring Crooked House.

You enter the majestic castle in the afternoon where you will see Queen Anne's doll house (the largest in the world), the resting place of Henry VIII in the stunning St.George's chapel and a selection of the famously ornate apartments used by the Queen of England when entertaining in her favourite castle. After your visit to Windsor Castle you'll return to central London by train at your leisure in the late afternoon. A truly historic day out guaranteed!
