- stand on the right on the escalators or risk getting trampled by Londoners
- Most of the Museums are free to go it... so make the most of them
- Don't use the Underground too much... try to use the buses or walking to see the best of the city
- Watch out for the worst of the rush hour between 8-9am and 5-6pm everyday
- Avoid tourist traps and follow a local to the hidden pubs, bars and restaurants that the city offers
- Take a boat trip to see the City from another angle. There are jet boats and more sedate cruisers
- Don't use illegal mini-cabs on the street... jump in a black cab or go to an authorised taxi office
- London is open 24hrs a day, so if you're feeling jet-lagged head into Soho or the Brick Lane bagel bakery
- Don't worry if you forget to bring hats, gloves, jackets... London has so many great shops you can always pick up some great pieces here!
- If you're ever stuck for conversation with a Londoner, then just mention the weather: it is guaranteed to induce a lengthy discussion
- The London Underground can becomeextremely hot in the summer so try to stay above ground and walk if possible... if you do have to go down then take a bottle of water!
- A man bored of London is bored with life... With so many things to do, come rain or shine, it makes London one of the world's top year-round destinations!
